Celebrating the flavors of a North American autumn, this recipe pairs the rich, toasty aroma of Cinnamon Aroma DanCong oolong with fresh apple slices, a cinnamon stick, and a drizzle of pure maple syrup. The result is a warming, dessert-like infusion perfect for crisp weather.

Method

  1. Slice 3–4 thin pieces of fresh apple.
  2. Place in a teapot with 1 cinnamon stick.
  3. Add 3g Cinnamon Aroma DanCong oolong (loose leaf) or 1 tea bag.
  4. Pour in 95°C water and steep for 1–2 minutes.
  5. Sweeten with 1 tsp pure maple syrup to taste.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with an apple slice and cinnamon stick.
